Using Chairfolio
These terms cover the Chairfolio website and, when available, the Android app, provided under the PaperMint Studio developer name. By using the app, you agree to them. If you act for a business, you must have authority to do so. The planned Android app will be free to download when it launches.
Chairfolio helps you manage clients, appointments, services and related business records. You control the details you enter and the messages you choose to send. Use it lawfully and respect your clients' privacy. Keep appropriate copies of important business information and check what your device backup includes. Losing a device, clearing app storage or removing the app may cause data loss. We cannot recover records we do not hold. Business summaries depend on your entries; check them before using them for accounting or reporting. The current version stores business records locally; restoring a subscription does not restore those records.
Seven-day Pro preview
A new local installation receives seven days of Pro preview from its first launch. No payment details are required and this preview does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. At the end, the app uses the Free limits unless you separately choose to subscribe. Normal updates do not restart an existing preview.
Free limits
Free supports up to 30 saved clients in total, including archived clients, and 30 appointments created in total. These limits do not reset monthly. Appointments created during the preview or a paid Pro period count towards the total. Cancelling or deleting an appointment does not restore its allowance. Permanently deleting a client frees a saved-client slot.
Calendar, timeline, reminders, client history and Business card are included in Free. If a preview or subscription ends, existing records remain accessible and existing appointments can still be edited. Adding beyond the Free limits requires Pro. Product and loyalty records remain viewable, but Pro is required for the associated feature changes and new product sales.
Paid Pro
Pro includes unlimited clients and appointments, Products and inventory, and Loyalty. Where available, Pro is offered as an automatically renewing monthly or yearly subscription. Both plans provide the same Pro features for the paid period. Prices are shown for your country and chosen plan before you confirm; they can differ by country. A yearly plan is charged for the full year, not in monthly instalments. The actual price, currency, applicable taxes and billing period are shown in the app and Google Play confirmation screen. Those are the terms of the purchase you choose. For an eligible Google Play free-trial offer, your confirmed subscription starts with seven free days. The first subscription charge is due at the end of that store trial unless you cancel beforehand. The trial starts when you confirm in Google Play, so it may extend your remaining local preview. For a regular plan without a store trial, payment is charged when you confirm; Chairfolio asks you to finish any remaining local preview before that purchase. A monthly plan renews each month and a yearly plan renews each year until cancelled through your store account. Any subscription price change follows the store’s applicable notice and consent process and your rights under applicable law. Starting a store trial is optional and requires your confirmation of a renewing subscription. Google Play determines trial eligibility and confirms the exact first-charge date, price and renewal period. Cancel before the store trial ends to avoid its first charge. A payment method may be required and a temporary authorization hold may appear. The no-payment local preview itself never automatically creates a subscription.
Use Your plan → Manage or cancel subscription, or Google Play’s Payments & subscriptions settings. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next renewal charge. Uninstalling Chairfolio does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, Pro normally remains available for the remainder of the paid period. Cancelling renewal does not itself refund the current period. See Google Play’s subscription-management instructions. Failed or pending payments, account holds, refunds and revocations may affect access as determined by the store and verified subscription status.
Use Restore purchases with the store account used to buy Pro. A Google Play purchase does not automatically transfer to another app store. Refund requests are handled through the applicable store and your rights under applicable law remain unaffected. Internet access is needed to buy, restore or refresh a subscription. Previously verified Pro access can be used offline until its known expiration.
Reminders and availability
Reminders depend on device permissions, alarm access, notification settings, battery settings and the operating system. Check these settings and verify important reminders. The app is a planning tool; it does not guarantee that a client attends or that a device will produce an alert in every condition.
Your information and the app
You retain your rights in the information you enter. We retain rights in Chairfolio’s software, branding and design and permit you to use the app for lawful personal or business purposes under these terms. Do not misuse the app, unlawfully access another person’s data, interfere with its operation or bypass purchase protections. Rights you have under applicable law remain unaffected.
Google Play, RevenueCat and any messaging or sharing service you choose have their own applicable terms. Your provider may charge for calls, messages or mobile data.
Changes and your rights
We may provide fixes and updates or change features. Where changes materially affect a paid service or these terms, we will provide the notice and choices required by applicable law. Future features are not included until expressly offered. You may stop using the app at any time; cancel any subscription separately if you do not want it to renew.
Uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer protections.
Privacy and support
See the privacy policy for local records, permissions, purchase processing and deletion requests. Contact support@chairfolio.com for help. Changes to these terms will be reflected in the effective date. These terms do not remove consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
